Two hundred years after Jackson Township was formed, and more than a century and a half since the founding of Grove City, Ohio, siblings Sydney and Dylan discover a forgotten time capsule in an old house up for auction. Inside, they find decades of photos, journals, and historical treasure; along with a letter. That letter sets off a mystery that reaches back to the origins of Jackson Township and Grove City; one that Sydney and Dylan will have to solve before the auction, or risk losing the century box forever. THE CENTURY BOX, told through a series of vignettes and monologues framed by this mystery, was written to commemorate the Bicentennial of Jackson Township and the history of Grove City, Ohio.  

This original play was commissioned by the Grove City Historical Commission and is presented by the Little Theatre Off Broadway and the City of Grove City.
