Jeremy Sony is an Ohio-based playwright and screenwriter whose works have been produced by theatres and youth programs nationally and internationally — including Tantrum East, Nashville Rep, Available Light, MadLab Theatre, Curtain Players, and The Last Frontier Theatre Conference. His stage plays include The Last Queen of Wonderland, Sleepy Hollow: The Lost Chapter, and Robin Hood and the Secret of Sherwood. He has been commissioned by the City of Grove City, Ohio for original historical works, and wrote the festival award-winning feature film Separation Anxiety. He holds an MFA from Ohio University.

His plays have been developed and produced by Tantrum East, Nashville Rep, Theatre Daedalus, Available Light, MadLab Theatre, Curtain Players, Luna Theatre, the Little Theatre Off Broadway, and The Last Frontier Theatre Conference, among others.
His stage plays include The Last Queen of Wonderland, Sleepy Hollow: The Lost Chapter, Robin Hood and the Secret of Sherwood, and Mars, Ohio, among more than a dozen full-length and short works. Sony has been commissioned by the City of Grove City, Ohio to create original historical plays for public performance — including The Century Box, commemorating the bicentennial of Jackson Township, and The Women of Grove City, created as part of the America 250 celebration.
As a screenwriter, Sony wrote the feature film Separation Anxiety, directed by Cole Simon and produced by Glass City Films and Braeburn Entertainment. The film starred John Wesley Shipp and Kiana Harris, won Best Drama at the Riverbend Film Festival, and screened at festivals across the United States.
Sony holds an MFA in playwriting from Ohio University, where he was named an Anthony Trisolini Graduate Fellow and received the Scott McPherson Playwriting Award.
